Sometimes it takes a couple of goes to get it right.
working in the style I have where I try to balance certain looseness and immediacy of line and mark making with a sort of straight forward but cartoony depiction of people, I need to approach each page as a ‘take’ almost like a musician might approach a performance.
Each time it will be slightly different and imperfect in its own way and sometimes certain passages need multiple approaches of their own!
